Robbery

Two black males armed with a knife robbed the female victims near the laundry mat area of the 700 block of Margaret Square on Jan. 23.

Residential burglaries

An unknown person at the 1900 block of Oakhurst Avenue on Jan. 22 entered a residence under construction (possibly with a key) and stole building materials and tools.

An unknown person at the 100 block of Chelton Circle on Jan. 22 entered an open garage and removed a Samsung cell phone from an unlocked vehicle and a silver hybrid bicycle from the garage.

An unknown person at the 900 block of Aragon Avenue on Jan. 25 kicked in the side door of a house and stole lose coins and a pair of Nike shoes from a closet.

A subject at the 900 block of Aragon Avenue on Jan. 26 was arrested for kicking in the front door of a house and attempting to steal an LG LCD TV, car keys, a bag of jewelry and three purses.

Vehicle burglaries and theft

An unknown person at the 200 block of South Park Avenue on Jan. 22 punctured both passenger side tires of a vehicle.

An unknown person at the 800 block of West Morse Boulevard on Jan. 22 broke the rear driver's side window of a vehicle and stole a bag containing used shoes.

An unknown person at the 900 block of South Ranger Boulevard on Jan. 22 entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a cell phone, E-Pass transponder and a Garmin Nuvi GPS unit.

An unknown white male stole a white Nissan Maxima from the 2600 block of West Fairbanks Avenue, and then crashed it at Colonial Drive & Apopka Vineland Road on Jan. 24.

Noise complaints

Winter Park Police registered various noise complaints from around the city between Jan. 22 and Jan. 28, including loud pool pump, loud music, loud parties, construction, etc.

Arrests

Arrests were made in Winter Park between Jan. 22 and Jan. 28 for crimes including burglary, grand theft, DUI, possession of alcohol by a minor and dealing in stolen property.
