Blaze (ID #A329259) is a mellow and outgoing 2-year-old cat. He is seen sporting the new fall line of e-collars because he has a significant burn to his back, possibly caused from either chemicals or seeking shelter in a car. Though the shelter is currently monitoring his burn and waiting for it to heal, Blaze is still looking for a family to give him all the love he’ll ever need. This fashionable cat loves to talk and purr, and he gets along with other cats and dogs.

Cats have taken over the shelter: During the month of September, Orange County Animal Services is hosting the “Kittenzilla” adoption promotion, which waives all cat and kitten adoption fees.

Orange County Animal Services is located at 2769 Conroy Road in Orlando, near the Mall at Millenia. The shelter is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. For more information, call (407) 836-3111 or visit ocnetpets.com.

Critter Corner showcases local animals available for adoption. If you run a shelter or animal rescue and wish to participate, contact Staff Writer Catherine Sinclair, [email protected].
