Don't let the bed bugs bite

It is the beginning of summer and time for vacation adventures.  Everyone wants to bring home unique mementos of the trip, but sometimes unwanted guests — namely bed bugs — can hitchhike home with them. Join Christy LeDuc at the next meeting of the Central Florida Insect Enthusiasts this Saturday, June 7, at noon.

Participants can learn how to recognize bed bugs and discover tips to prevent them from accompanying them home.  After the presentation, join LeDuc for an insect safari throughout the reserve. Be sure to bring a collecting jar and drinking water and wear adventure apparel. Butterfly nets are provided on a first-come first-served basis.
