Elementary schools hosting reception for graduating seniors

High school students who attended Windermere, Whispering Oak and Lake Whitney are invited to special events this month.

Three West Orange County elementary schools are holding receptions for graduating seniors who were once students there.

Windermere Elementary invites all Mustangs to a reception at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, in the school’s media center. Students can catch up with elementary classmates, visit with former teachers, view old photos and enjoy refreshments. RSVP at (407) 876-7520, Ext. 2221.

Whispering Oak Elementary is holding its reception from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, in the media center. RSVP by May 18 to (407) 656-7773.

Lake Whitney Elementary’s senior reception is at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, in the media center. Visit with former teachers and classmates and take a look at old photos.
