Eleven Windermere Prep juniors receive National Merit recognition

The students are among the 50,000 highest-scoring participants in the National Merit Scholarship Program for the Class of 2022.

Eleven Windermere Preparatory School juniors have qualified for the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Each student is among the 50,000 highest-scoring participants who will be recognized either as semifinalists or commended students in the fall.

“Many of our students receiving this recognition have been Windermere Prep Lakers since Lower School,” said Summer Simmons, Windermere Prep’s marketing manager. “We can see their academic growth and prowess develop over the years and feel privileged to have contributed to their journeys. Each one of these students is also an IB Diploma student, seeking the highest academic program for our school that is recognized internationally. Overall, we are very proud of these students.”
