I did really well today until I completely and utterly cheated for dinner.

The toughest part about my diet is that I am always on the move. Whether it is the two boys I'm chasing around the house, my job, community efforts, or just life, I feel like I never get to just sit. In fact writing this blog is a nice little break for me.

This weekend I am going to run a race at Sunfest in West Palm Beach and the boys are going to Naples so today we have a 4-hour trip to Naples and then I have two more hours to West Palm. I can tell you I drank a lot of water. It was hard to stick to six meals because I would have needed to plan better or stop often. I did neither. I did really well until I completely and utterly cheated for dinner. It was a down fall and I'm not going to tell you I tried to be healthy because I really didn't.

Here is what I ate:

Meal One: Whole wheat toast with Peanut Butter

Meal Two: 6 ounces of steak and rice

Meal Three: 2 steak fajitas with sour cream and a margarita.

I know today wasn't a good day and I will pull it together for tomorrow. I need to improve my ability to eat well and stick to a healthy meal when I am out with friends. Or Sam should not talk me into sharing fajitas and my friend Lee Ellen should not want to get margaritas. Can you tell I like to blame others when things go south on a diet?

So there it is. Putting it out there. My first real break in the diet. Maybe Sue won't read this post. Keep your fingers crossed. If it helps I didn't have chocolate milk today.
