It's FRIDAY.

As fit that's not enough . . . today kicks off the Winter Park Autumn Arts Festival AND this weekend's a Park Avenue Sidewalk Sale. If you're not ON the Avenue this weekend, why the heck not? You may be the only one!

First . . . good news! The Tiffany Deli WILL be opening soon! I'm happy about that, I know the merchants around that space are happy about that -- as a few told me yesterday -- and it's owner, Bobby Simmons was smiling yesterday BIG TIME when he told me! All the permitting type issues behind them, he's shooting for an opening around the end of the month. And, SCOOP, he's now hired an Italian chef who will not only be preparing great deli treats you're expecting, but will also be offering some great Italian food, as well. At night, Bobby says, the white table cloths come out and it'll be a different experience!

This weekend is PACKED with stuff to do. Don't miss I LUV Winter Park mascot Parker out flapping his wings on Park Avenue just outside the Hidden Garden Bistro tomorrow from noon to 2. And, tomorrow night in that same courtyard, join Bistro as they welcome Local entertainer Shawn Paris for a great show open to the public!
