Foundation Academy performs well at Buffalo Invitational

Foundation Academy’s track and field team went up to the Buffalo Invitational at The Villages on Sept. 18 and came away with great performances across the board. 

Senior Mehari van der Riet claimed victory in the boys division with a time of 16:48. His teammate, sophomore Andrew Nyland finished 18th. 

The boys team finished 5th out of 19 teams. 

On the girls’ side, 7th grader Claire Reburn took fourth place with a time of 20:29. 

The Lions run next on Sept. 25 at the the West Orange Invitational at West Orange High School.
