Foundation Academy quarterback Sabby Meassick was given a verbal scholarship offer to the University of Florida last weekend.
He is only in eighth grade and has yet to start a game for the Lions.
This season, Meassick has seen limited action behind starter Greg Jones. He is 1-for-5 passing for 30 yards in only three games of action.
