Lake Howell 6, Ocoee 42 (Thursday)

Quick hit: Konrie Brown ran for 228 yards and a touchdown as the Knights (5-2, 5-0 district) secured the modern Ocoee High's first district title and playoff berth. Recap and photos HERE.

 

Freedom 0, Dr. Phillips 38 (Thursday)

Quick hit: In two games, the Panthers (5-2, 2-0 district) have yet to allow a point. Dr. Phillips has shut out Oak Ridge and Freedom by a combined score of 83-0. Emare Hogan threw, caught and ran for a touchdown.

 
 
West Orange 48, Evans 0 (Thursday)

Quick hit: Austin Burton tossed five touchdown passes — two to Kyveon Jones — in leading Warriors (2-5, 1-1 district) back into the win-column. Evans falls to 2-5 overall and 0-2 in the district, eliminating the Trojans from playoff contention.

 

Apopka 38, Wekiva 31 (Thursday)

Quick hit: DeShawn Massey's 27-yard touchdown run with 1:48 left helps Blue Darters (7-0, 2-0 district) escape closest game against Mustangs (4-3, 1-1 district) to date. Apopka earns a district title and playoff berth with the win.

 

 
CFCA 27, Windermere Prep 35 (Friday)

Quick hit: Ismael Cortes' four touchdowns helps power Lakers (7-0, 4-0 division) to emotional win over Eagles (2-5, 2-2 division). Recap and gallery HERE

 

The First Academy 48, Trinity Prep 24 (Friday)

Quick hit: Chance Bush scored four touchdowns for TFA as the Royals improved to 2-0 in Class 3A, District 3 and 6-0 overall. The victory clinches a playoff berth for TFA.

 

Orangewood Christian 26, Legacy Charter 22 (Friday)

Quick hit: Eagles (4-3, 2-2 division) stumble at Ocoee's Bulldog Field to Rams (2-5, 2-2 division), creating a three-way tie for runner-up in SSAC's Coastal Central Florida division.

 

 
Foundation Academy 16, Victory Christian 24 (Friday)

Quick hit: Six turnovers help to doom the Lions (4-4, 1-1 district) in loss to the Storm (6-0, 1-0 district), virtually assuring Foundation will finish as district runner-up. Recap HERE.
