If you haven’t gotten the chance to see the Garden Theatre’s season-opening production, you now have more time to catch the show.

The Garden Theatre has added four more performance dates to “Ragtime the Musical.” The production now runs through Sept. 22. The added performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. from Sept. 19 to 21, and at 2 p.m. on Sept. 21 and 22. Tickets can be purchased online, by phone or at the box office. Cost is $35 to $37, and discounts are available for military, seniors, students and groups of 10 or more.

Set in the melting pot of New York City during the turn of the 20th century, “Ragtime” weaves together three unique, yet relatable, American stories. The production brings together a stifle upper-class wife, a determined Jewish immigrant and a young musician from Harlem in a tale that displays the true portrait of America.

The Garden Theatre encourages parents to use their judgment based on their child’s age and maturity level.
