Longtime readers of the West Orange Times & Observer, Southwest Orange Observer and OrangeObserver.com know our company has a tradition of having a little fun on April Fools’ Day.

Just to be clear: The story, “Horizon West community changes name,” is not true.

Of course, everyone in our community knows there are two types of residents: those who call the community “Horizon West” — and those who are wrong.

Please, for our sanity’s sake, stop pluralizing it!

We hope our little spoof made you smile. We know you depend on us for your hyperlocal news, and we are committed to delivering the best, most accurate and comprehensive news report in West Orange and Southwest Orange. But we also know it’s important to have a little fun sometimes. Thanks for reading!
