Health Central Park lives Aloha spirit

Residents, family members, guests and staff at Health Central Park celebrated National Nursing Home Week in mid-May. The week highlights the quality and life in long-term care homes.

This year’s theme was “Living the Aloha Spirit,” or being patient, kind, respectful and compassionate. At Health Central Park, 411 N. Dillard St., the celebration included a Mother’s Day concert, a “tiki” team spirit contest, Hawaiian sundaes, a luau picnic, games, a fun photo shoot and neighborhood parties. Volunteers were thanked for their ongoing commitment and assistance with a luncheon, and the winner of the coveted “team spirit trophy” was the Rose Garden neighborhood.
