Helicopter goes down in Lake Apopka

The incident occurred around 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

A helicopter descended from the sky and into Lake Apopka early Tuesday morning. 

According to officials, the incident occurred around 8 a.m. 

The only occupant on board was the pilot, who was brought ashore and is being assessed by rescue crews for injuries.
