History Mystery

Have you ever come across a family photo where you can't quite remember who was in the picture or where you were at the time? You flip over the picture to see the caption written on the back, but unfortunately it's completely blank? At the Maitland Historical Society we too have pictures that remain a mystery to us. The people or places in photographs have gone unidentified for years, and we need your help to solve them. On July 17, 2010, the City of Maitland will celebrate its 125th birthday! Festivities at Party in the Park will include a decade themed parade, an outdoor history exhibit, fireworks and more! In this photo from 1985, residents celebrate Maitland's 100th birthday.
