Horizon High Kickoff Classic moved to Frostproof

The change was announced after Teneroc pulled out because of COVID-19 concerns.

The Horizon Hawks now will play their Kickoff Classic in Frostproof at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20, in Davenport. The team will play in a Preseason Jamboree with both Davenport Frostproof high schools.

They originally were scheduled to play at home against Teneroc, but Teneroc had to pull out because of COVID-19 concerns. 

Horizon is one of two new schools in West Orange County to begin their inaugural season, along with Lake Buena Vista.
