Both youth football and cheerleading will start practices at LifeBridge Church from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
With summer break quickly coming to an end for local children, it's that time of the year for the Horizon West Wolverines football and cheer teams to take to the field.
Tonight — Monday, July 29 — kicks off the start of practice for both squads, which will take place over at LifeBridge Church from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Practices in general will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The conditioning camp is to help players get ready before the start of the regular season, which begins on Saturday, Aug. 24 — a week after the organization's jamboree on Saturday, Aug. 17.
The organization asks that all registered children bring in all of their forms to turn in tonight at the first practice.
