House fire in Oakland under control

The two occupants of the house are safe, but 50 percent of the house has burned.

First responders were sent to a call at Gulley Ave. in Oakland early Tuesday morning in response to a house fire. 

According to Orange County Fire Rescue, the two occupants of the house are safe, but the fire has claimed 50% of the structure. They said that there was heavy smoke and flames coming from the attic when firefighters arrived on the scene. 

At this time, the two survivors have been transported to the hospital for inspection and there is still no known cause of the fire.
