Dianne Ketts, a community leader in vision services, is one of the new members inducted in the past year into the Ocoee Lions Club.

Ketts is a native Floridian and a graduate of the Florida State University visual disabilities program. For 21 years, she has enjoyed a fulfilling career providing vision services to infants, children and adults with sight impairments in various rehabilitation and educational settings, club officials said.

She is currently employed by Orange County Public Schools as a teacher of the visually impaired and is a certified orientation and mobility specialist, officials said. They said Ketts’ interest in and support of Lionism began in early childhood as her family has a deep history of active membership.

“She is very happy at this time to be joining the Ocoee Lions Club, where she looks forward to serving along with her father, Lion Hershel Luce, and sharing her experiences with her 10 year-old son, Benjamin,” club officials said.
