On Saturday, May 14, Central Florida letter carriers will participate in the 24th anniversary of the nation’s largest single-day food drive: Stamp Out Hunger! This drive is spearheaded by the National Association of Letter Carriers.

Central Florida residents are asked to leave a bag of non-perishable foods next to their mailboxes prior to the time of regular mail delivery on Saturday, May 14. Mail carriers will collect donations, which will be sorted by Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida volunteers. The food will be taken to the food bank and distributed to partner organizations across its six-county coverage area.

Last year, more than 1.7 million pounds of non-perishable foods were collected. For information, visit www.FeedHopeNow.org
