Sometime ago I began a column titled “If.” The column moved in the direction of predicting some dire things we might expect if we re-elected Barack Obama as president. We re-elected Obama, and events have occurred since which have caused general unrest on an ever-increasing scale: the National Security Agency’s (NSA) spying in areas to do with telephone and email privacy; murder of border guards and ranch owners in the Southwest; loss of stability in the Middle East — Egypt, Libya, Iran, Iraq, Syria, and now Turkey; scandalous conduct by the IRS against Conservative groups re: 501(c)(3)or(4); the attempts to prosecute news reporters; etc.

Comments on the NSA scandal: All along the line the U.S. seems to be yielding the freedoms we won when we got out of the clutches of the British in the 18th century. A most interesting tape of a broadcast has come to light between a commentator and Congresswoman Maxine Waters dated from February 2013. The conversation is about an Obama legacy. Among Waters’ comments is a description of a database of information about voters. This list, according to Waters, will be saved and used by future Democrats when running in any and all public positions. It is coming to light just now, but it was really revealed in February and is patently illegal. (See First and Fourth amendments to the Constitution.)

Back when I began talking about such things, I outed my assumption that a supra-mentality could be sitting at the top giving the orders. I even hazarded the guess that the architect involved could be someone like George Soros, and I still think that possible. The important thing is the direction in which the U.S. is moving. Patriotism can be a frustrating emotion when one sees one’s country destroying its own chances for future success.

If the people of this country had the stupidity to re-elect President Barack Obama — and they did — many of us predicted that the nation would begin to sink into a morass of international impotence. Well, kiddies, we’ve begun to sink all right!

When Obama was “Chicago’s Senator Obama “ on the Foreign Relations Committee, he said that Bush was “undermining the constitution and our freedoms.” Now President Obama assures us that his administration is not collecting data on our citizens, and the IRS is not singling out Conservatives, and the justice department is not attempting to prosecute journalists, and the Benghazi attack was simply a response to a video! Sure…

Despite Obama’s prevarications, we have yet to see anything done on any of the fronts already mentioned, plus the on-going problems of health care, social security, taxation, border control, immigration, jobs, gun control, the deficit — the list goes on and on.

With Obama’s henchmen i.e.: Valerie Jarrett, David Axelrod, Cass Sunstein, Susan Rice, Samantha Power, and “premiere henchman” Eric Holder, doing Obama’s bidding with ever increasing freedom, the general population could be in grave danger.

We are sinking into chaos, which may be this administration’s blueprint.

The first priority must be to get control of our own future if we are to have a free America.
