Maxey Community Center to host Community Resource Fair

Are you in need of a Florida ID, a driver's license, or other legal documents? From 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Sept. 21, at 830 Klondike St., Winter Garden, you can get info on how to obtain those.

The Community Action Division of the Maxey Community Center will host a Community Resource Fair the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 21. 

According to its website, the Community Action Division has a mission of enhancing "the quality of life, promoting self-sufficiency, and eliminating the causes and consequences of poverty by mobilizing and directing socioeconomic resources, collaboration and partnership, and by providing high-quality, easily accessible programs and services."

If you are in need of a Florida ID or a driver's license, a social security card, a bank account, a free phone or tablet, or even a birth certificate, the fair will provide resources for you and will guide you on how to obtain those. 

Attendees also will be able to enjoy free fruits and vegetables.
