Sommelier Deanna Key will pass on her knowledge this week at the shop.
A local wine shop is hosting an exclusive wine tasting this week.
Mayson's Wine Shop, which we first told you about here, opened on Nov. 22 and is already attracting locals with its extensive wine collection and tasting bar.
The veteran-owned business in Ocoee carries more than 500 different wines and said it has received several requests for a wine tasting lesson from an expert.
Sommelier Deanna Key will pass on her knowledge of wine and teach attendees about IL Cuore wine Cellars from California while guests enjoy charcuterie.
"Il Cuore," which means "The Heart" in Italian, honors the original Italian immigrants who planted vines in Mendocino County located along the northern coast of California.
The event has limited slots and is set to take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 26.
Tickets are only $15 for wine club members and $20 for non-members.
Those who wish to RSVP can call the shop at (407) 347-3665, email [email protected], or come to the shop at 2222 Ocoee Apopka Road.
