OCOEE  City of Ocoee officials have announced the next phase in the Downtown Ocoee Master Plan process, "Planning & Refining: Creative Workshop and Public Meetings."

This phase includes public workshops from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Ocoee City Hall and a public meeting at 6:30 p.m. June 13 at Ocoee Lakeshore Center. This is later than the previously anticipated May timeframe of this phase, but residents will see the first draft of the plan and have opportunities during the workshops to see the design team in action.

Previous phases were the March 14 public kick-off meeting, March 18 and 19 walking audits and April 27 and 28 planning and development workshops. City officials had intended for the final presentation of the Downtown Ocoee Master Plan to occur in June, but it seems that will have to wait for July or August. Soon thereafter, the Ocoee City Commission would vote on adopting the plan and setting it in motion.
