Oakland commission to adopt tentative millage, budget

The Oakland Town Commission is holding a budget hearing for its tentative millage rate and Fiscal Year 2021-22 budget at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, at the Oakland Meeting Hall, 221 N. Arrington St. It also can be accessed virtually.

The commission’s regular meeting will follow at 7 at the meeting hall.

Commissioners will consider two public hearings and a resolution designating election qualifying dates.

The consent agenda includes the continued adoption of standard response/active assailant protocols and the manager’s report.
