The Oakland Town Commission meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, and the agenda will include a number of ordinances up for approval.

Several of them pertain to Cra-Mar Groves, which is asking for voluntary annexation of its 7.4 acres on West Colonial Drive. The applicant intends to use the property for low-intensity, non-residential use permitting secured, climate-controlled personal storage with a covered exterior vehicle storage.

Tractor Supply is looking to establish itself in the town, and a memorandum of understanding for project improvements is up for discussion.

Commissioners will address a complaint regarding construction hours in a residential area.

The commission also will hear a presentation on its social media platform and learn of any changes to its policies.
