Oakland to hear heritage center update

The Healthy West Orange Arts & Heritage Center is under construction near the Oakland Town Center.

The Oakland Town Commission will hold its meeting virtually at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 28. Commissioners will hear an update on the Healthy West Orange Arts & Heritage Center currently under construction near Town Hall and the West Orange Trail.

The meeting also will include discussions about the Green Mountain Scenic Byway and the

town’s intention of converting the town’s streetlights to LED lights.

Those wishing to view this meeting can do so remotely by watching live on Zoom, and they will have an opportunity to make public comment.
