Oakland Town Commission to meet tonight

There will be a presentation on the next steps for providing alternative water in the town.

The Oakland Town Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, for its regular commission meeting. One of the discussions will be the next steps that need to be taken to provide alternative water services for irrigation.

Also on the agenda is the first public hearing of an ordinance that would specify requirements and restrictions for burning and clearing land for development, as well as a vote on a memorandum of understanding related to stormwater management on the Tractor Supply project.
