Oakland Town Commission to meet tonight

Elected officials will hold a work session on an alternative water supply project at 6:30 p.m. prior to the regular town meeting.

The Oakland Town Commission will hold back-to-back meetings Tuesday, June 14, starting with a work session at 6:30 p.m. to discuss an alternative water supply project.

At the 7 p.m. regular Town Commission meeting, the agenda includes a public hearing for vacating an existing utility easement in Oakland Park; a facilities plan for the water project; and presentations on a sergeant promotion, Eagle Scout project and Oakland Avenue Charter School.

The consent agenda includes an agreement for a coordinator of police services and a math curriculum purchase for OACS.
