WILLIE A. “WILL” TURNER, of Winter Garden, Florida, departed this life on Thursday, July 31, 2014. Willie Turner was born on June 25, 1928, in Clopton, Henry County, Alabama. He was hired by Winter Garden Citrus Co-Op. After 6 months, he moved his family here and continued to work for the company, retiring after 59 years. When the family arrived in Winter Garden, they united with the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, where he worked in the vineyard faithfully and untiringly for 64 years. He was a longtime member of the Masonic Family, Macedonia Lodge #49 Winter Garden. Willie leaves cherished memories with his loving and devoted wife, Sallie B. Turner (66 years); 1 Daughter, Lillian Ann Fountain; 2 Sons, Willie C. Turner (Phillippia), Jimmy L. Turner (Elizabeth);  3 Grandchildren. Services where held at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. Postell’s Mortuary provided service for the Turner family.

ELEANOR L. EVANS DAVIS — Eleanor “Arny” Davis was born Feb. 14, 1930, to Oscar and Zella Youngman at home in Des Moines County, Iowa, and died August 10, 2014, at the age of 84 at Golden Pond Assisted Living in Winter Garden, FL. Arny lived a very full life. She graduated from Winfield High School in 1949 and attended nursing school. She was a medical assistant in doctors’ offices in California, New Jersey and for Dr. Albert Gleason in Winter Garden, FL. She supported her first husband, high school sweetheart Loren D. Evans, through engineering school in San Luis Obispo, CA. They had five children over a span of seven years. She moved to Basking Ridge, NJ, and lived there 8 years. In 1969, she moved to Windermere, FL, so Loren could work for Martin Marietta. She was widowed in 1970 and left to raise her children, ages 11-18 years old. While working full time she was always very involved with her children. She was a leader in Blue Birds, Brownies, Girl Scouts, 4-H and Cub Scouts. She had a green thumb and taught her children to garden, which helped feed the entire family. She was active on the Butler Chain Conservation Association, Windermere Town Council and Orange County Water and Sewer Board before retiring in 1982. Arny sang in the Windermere Union Church Choir, where she met Tom Davis. They married in 1981 and built a home in Gotha, FL. They loved to dance and enjoyed life together until Tom’s death in 1992. She enjoyed oil painting and gardening and having her family nearby. Eleanor was preceded in death by Loren Evans, Tom Davis, parents Oscar and Zella Youngman, brothers Melvin and Myron Youngman. She leaves behind sisters Gwen Rodruck and Janet Sherer; brother Larry Youngman; children, Becky (Frank) Watson, Ocoee, FL (recently moved to North Florida), Deb (John) Kamens, Littleton, CO, Susan Evans, Orlando, FL, Jim Evans, Orlando, FL, and Don Evans, Petaluma, CA; grandchildren, Ian (Amy) Watson, Christa Watson, Leigh Kamens, Jill (Mark) Tucker, Michael Evans, Chelsea Evans Rasmussen; and five great-grandchildren. Eleanor will always be remembered for her laugh and good humor. She loved people and adventure. A memorial service will be held September 6 at 11:00 AM at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home, 1148 East Plant Street, Winter Garden, FL 34787, (407)-877-6700, followed by a reception. Inurnment will take place in Winfield, Iowa (date to be determined).

RENEE CIRINOLAN, 43, Winter Garden, died Saturday, Aug. 9. Postell’s Mortuary, Orlando.

NANCY JEAN GAJEWSKI (GRADY), 86, Orlando, Fl, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, August 8, 2014, at Bellin Hospital, Green Bay, WI. She was born on March 20, 1928, in Kewaunee, WI, the daughter of Dr. Edwin & Doris Grady (Evans). Nancy graduated from Lawrence University with a degree in Applied Music/Organ and graduated from Northwestern University with her Masters. Nancy was the organist at the First Congregational Church in Wauwatosa, WI, for many years. She also had several organ students. On June 7, 1952, she married Edwin Gajewski in Kewaunee, WI. Nancy was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandma and great-grandmother. She lived in Wauwatosa with her family and was involved with the Milwaukee Symphony Women’s League. For many years Ed and Nancy spent their retirement years split between Orlando, FL, and the family cottage on Clark’s Lake in Sturgeon Bay, WI. Nancy put her faith and trust in Jesus Christ at age 49. She was a member of the Gideon’s International Auxiliary and the First Baptist Church, Orlando, FL. Survivors include her husband, Edwin; two children, Wendy Gajewski Proctor, Orlando, FL, Beth Partain, South Lyon, MI and her children, Dr. Danielle Partain, Jason Partain (Katie - children, Jack, Luke, Harry), Michelle Partain; sister-in-law Hildy Grady; nephew, Paul (Donna) Grady; niece, Kristin (Dale) Mitchell. Preceding her in death were her parents, and brother Dr. David Grady. A private memorial celebration of her life will be with her immediate family at the cottage she loved on Clark’s Lake. A public memorial celebration will be held in Orlando, FL, on Saturday, August 23, at 1:30 pm at First Baptist Church - Henry Chapel, 3000 S. John Young Parkway, Orlando, FL 32805.
