Jeffery Richard Creson, 60, of Montverde, Florida, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018. He was born August 17, 1957, in Orlando, Florida.

The Creson family founded Auto Electric Co. on Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida, in 1947. Jeff took over as sole proprietor in 1990.

He was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was an Eagle Scout, avid fisherman, scuba diver and lover of the outdoors.

Mr. Creson is preceded in death by his father, Richard John Creson.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda May Fortmueller Creson; mother, Ethel Mae (Willard “Bill”) Parker Creson Taylor; children, Jennifer (Robert) Lin Creson Riffle and Zachary (Carissa) Richard Creson; and grandchildren, Bayleigh May Riffle and Gracey Lin Riffle.

Jeff will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held at First Baptist Church of Montverde, 17409 Eighth St., Montverde, Florida 34756, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Alzheimer’s & Dementia Resource Center, 1506 Lake Highland Drive, Orlando, FL 32803.
