John Pawlack Jr. was born April 27, 1930, in Pennsylvania to John and Victoria Pawlack. John is survived by his wife of 45 years, Cavelle Pawlack; his daughter, Cammie Evans; his son, Jeffre Pawlack; his grandchildren, Bradley Evans, Zachary Evans, Hayden Evans, Celine Pawlack and William Pawlack; and his sister, Jean Keil.

As an engineer, John traveled the United States building bridges, missile silos and Disney hotels. He excelled at fabricating miscellaneous steel structures, while president of Lite Steel Fabricators. In his later years, he and his wife welcomed guests at their bed and breakfast at Meadow Marsh in Winter Garden. His hobbies included playing various brass instruments, working on model railroad engines and tinkering in his workshop. As a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, he was active in his church and led a life of love and dedication to his family.

He went to be with his Savior on Dec. 13, 2015. A memorial service will be held to honor John’s life at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home in Winter Garden at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015.
