Bob was married to Chie Numajiri in Tokyo, Japan, on June 8, 1955. They then set sail together for the United States, where they remained married for 61 years until his death. This is a love story to which no fairy tale can compare.
Bob enjoyed watching Atlanta Braves baseball, staying active in his church and singing in the choir. He pursued his interests with passion and vigor.
Bob is survived by his wife, Chie; his brother, Harold, and wife, Nancy; his daughter, Lynn, and her partner, Steve; his son, Dale, and wife, Susan; his grandson, Josh, and wife, Morgan; his granddaughter, Jessica, and husband, Nathan; great-granddaughters Haven, Jadyn and Lyla; and too many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends to list. His legacy lives on through these people.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Powers Drive Baptist Church.
The family of Robert Calvin Langley wishes to thank Dr. Louis Kantounis and the staff at Mid-Florida Cardiology Specialists for many years of passionate care and friendship.
