Ocoee City Commission to discuss two items on regular agenda

Consent agenda features resolution of support for potential sales tax referendum, officers to trade in for new firearms.

The Ocoee City Commission will be meeting for the only time this month on March 1, and will feature items on the regular agenda for the first time in several months. 

One of the items being discussed will be accepting a letter of intent on the transfer of two City-owned properties to, 2BPLATINUM LP, who will then turn the space into a two-story mixed use building. The asking price is $300,000. The other one will be the approval of a proposed project list for the American Rescue Plan Act grant the city received. The federal grant gives the city $24.1 million, with funding being received in tranches of $12.08 million.
