The Ocoee Professional Firefighters are set to host a bass tournament in August that will raise funds for one of their own.

The Taylor Pageau Bass Tournament will be held Saturday, Aug. 7, at Hickory Point Park in Tavares. Proceeds will benefit Pageau, an Ocoee firefighter who collapsed at work and suffered a seizure, which led to the discovery of a large brain tumor that required surgery to remove.

Pageau is in recovery and has made positive strides but will be out of work for the next few months. Funds raised will go toward Pageau’s medical bills and financial uncertainties he and his wife are facing as a result.

There is a $100 entry fee for this tournament. Click here for more information and to sign up.
