'Oil on Canvas: Park Maitland School Perspectives' at MAC

The A&H Museums Maitland is at the nexus of art and history with dual shows, "Maitland History Illustrated" and "Oil on Canvas: Park Maitland School Perspectives". The two exhibitions opened April 21 in the galleries of the Maitland Art Center and next door at the Maitland Historical Museum in the “We Make History Community Gallery.”

In the Maitland Historical Museum, illustrator and artist Dawn Schreiner brings color to the black and white of history with her quirky style.

Nothing is as it seems in Maitland Art Center, where Park Maitland School’s sixth grade art exhibit features forced perspective and optical illusions. Partnering with art educator Sandy Bonus, "Oil on Canvas" is Orange County’s only professional display of student work.
