In accordance with guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control, Orange County's District 1 office will be postponing two upcoming meetings.

District 1 Commissioner Betsy VanderLey sent out emails Monday, March 16, stating that the county has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak. Staff will be rescheduling the Horizon West Town Hall and O-Town Boardwalk meetings, she said.

The O-Town Boardwalk meeting originally was slated for March 18, while the Horizon West Town Hall was set for April 9. The rescheduled dates are to be determined.

"To stay in accordance with the CDC guidelines, Orange County government is postponing all meetings of 50 people or more," VanderLey wrote.
