Police: Man shot, killed in Winter Garden following argument

Winter Garden police are working on identifying the suspect who they say shot Lee.

Winter Garden police are searching for a suspect they say shot and killed a 28-year-old man in Winter Garden over the weekend.

Winter Garden Police Capt. Scott Allen said the shooting occurred at 22 North St. around 1 a.m. Saturday, April 11. 

Allen said officers arrived at the scene to find 28-year-old Jeremy Lee suffering from gunshot wounds. According to police, Winter Garden Fire Rescue worked on Lee until he was transported to Orlando Health's Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, where he died from his injuries.

Allen said upon investigating, a group was hanging out at the house when an argument ensued. Shortly after, he said, a suspect pulled a weapon and fired shots at Lee.
