Qualifying to begin for Ocoee City Commission

The qualifying period to run for office in Ocoee starts Jan. 14.

Two seats on the Ocoee City Commission — districts 2 and 4 — will be on the ballot for the Tuesday, March 9, municipal election. Those seats currently are held by commissioners Rosemary Wilsen and George Oliver III, respectively.

The qualifying period for candidates to submit their forms and $90 fee begins at noon Thursday, Jan. 14, and ends at noon Friday, Jan. 22. Paperwork must be submitted to Ocoee City Hall, 150 N. Lakeshore Drive. For information, call (407) 905- 3100.
