The Rotary Club of Windermere welcomed Mike Neff from Camp Ithiel in Gotha on June 3. Established in 1948, this Christian camp offers summer camp experiences to children between the ages of 6 and 18. They participate in activities such as canoeing, archery, hiking, gaga ball, cookouts, campfires and arts and crafts. Camp Ithiel also hosts private and community events such as weddings, retreats, church congregations and quincineras. While many things have changed around the camp since 1948 (such as air conditioning and hot water), the central focus remains Christ and faith enrichment. Shown here is Neff receiving a picture from Rotary Club President Gary Atwill.
