Here are the scores from tonight's high school football games. Coverage area teams are in bold:
Game of the Week -
Orlando Christian Prep 30, CFCA 6
The Eagles (3-1, 2-1 division) hung tough in the first half against the favored Warriors, trailing just 7-6 at halftime. Orlando Christian Prep (3-0, 3-0 division) would dominate the second half, though, handing CFCA its first loss of the season. The Eagles will now prepare to host Faith Christian on Sept. 26.

Foundation Academy 29, Taylor 15
Foundation Academy has faced adversity early in the season and the Lions overcame more obstacles Friday night at Walker Field – namely rain, penalties and fumbles – en route to its first victory.
Gabe Walker ran for over 200 yards and three scores, freshman Konrie Brown contributed to an effective running game with a 69-yard touchdown and the defense gave a strong performance to help the Lions secure a 29-15 win over the Taylor Wildcats. Walker’s 11-yard TD run on the first snap of the second quarter and quarterback Jacob Murphy’s alert play during a successful two-point conversion put the Lions ahead for good, 14-7. The Foundation defense, which had allowed 11 rushing touchdowns coming into the game, collected two interceptions to go along with a red-zone fumble recovery. The Lions also stopped Taylor on fourth-and-1 at the 3-yard line with 11 seconds remaining in the first half.
Foundation (1-3) returns to Walker Field at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, against Homecoming opponent Orangewood Christian.

Dr. Phillips 35, Colonial 0 ... Panthers earn 4-0 start, 1-0 in district play.
Even through some mistakes and turnovers, the Panthers — ranked No. 1 in Class 8A in the state — cruised past Colonial (1-3, 0-1 district) to open district play with a win. Dr. Phillips (4-0, 1-0 district) rushed for more than 300 yards on the night, led by 107 yards from Daquan Isom and another 106 yards from Alvin Bryant.
Dr. Phillips led 28-0 at the half.
The Panthers will return to action in Week Five when they host University (Orlando) at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 26 in a non-district contest.

West Orange 47, Leesburg 14
The Warriors (4-0) continued to demonstrate an ability to put plenty of points on the scoreboard in a dominating victory over visiting Leesburg (2-2). Quarterback Woody Barrett tossed two touchdowns and ran for another while running back Dexter Williams ran for two scores.
West Orange returns to action in Week Five when it hosts Jones at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 26.

Ocoee 20, Lake Howell 3
The Knights outscored the Silver Hawks 20-0 in the second half, an unprecedented outpouring of offense for a team that has struggled with the ball this season, giving Ocoee (1-3, 1-0 district) its first 'W' of the season.
Despite the Knights' early-season woes this season, the win — which came on Homecoming for Ocoee — gives the Knights new life as they are 1-0 in Class 7A, District 4.
Ocoee will get to savor the win for a bit as they have a bye week for Week Five and return to action in Week Six with a district matchup on the road against East River on Oct. 3.

Edgewater 45, Olympia 6
Olympia (0-3) seemingly took a step backward after a spirited effort against DP in Week Two and close-call defeat to Freedom in Week Three.
Things only figure to get tougher for Titans, who will host Timber Creek on Sept. 26.

Windermere Prep 70, TFA-Leesburg 44
The Lakers (3-0) continue to put up video game numbers on offense and made another statement with a dominant win over last season's Sunshine State Athletic Conference champions.
Chris Granjean ran for four touchdowns, Michael Stones picked up two receiving touchdowns and quarterback Parker Davis passed for four touchdowns on the day. Rylan Thomas led the defense with 20 tackles.
Windermere Prep returns to action in Week Five on the road at St. Stephen's Episcopal.

Legacy Charter 28, Merritt Island Christian 0
The Eagles got back on track, improving to 2-1 overall and 2-1 in their division with an easy victory over Merritt Island Christian. Colton Liddell, Brian Carmean, Kyle Burdue and David Dominguez scored touchdowns for the Eagles.
Legacy will look for consecutive wins in Week Five when it takes to the road to face International Community School on Sept. 26.
