Second Harvest invites community to first Ultimate Garden Party

Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is inviting locals to its first ever Ultimate Garden Party.

The Ultimate Garden Party will feature live entertainment, hors d’oeuvres and specialty drinks. 

In addition, there will be a photo booth sponsored by Orlando Health and an Orlando Magic’s Games Lounge. 

All proceeds from the event support the food bank's efforts to fight hunger in the community.

According to Second Harvest, an estimated one in seven Central Florida residents is at risk of going to bed hungry on any given night.

Since March 2020, Second Harvest said it has increased food distribution efforts in direct response to a need for more assistance due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The new annual fundraiser, “Escape to Elegance," is sponsored in part by WESH 2 News and Publix.

General admission is $150 and VIP access is $250.

The Ultimate Garden Party will take place from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, at the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando. The resort can be found at 6601 Adventure Way.
