Shooting reported in east Winter Garden on Thanksgiving

A shooting in east Winter Garden on Thanksgiving night landed one victim in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to a scene near Bethune Avenue and Bay Street just after 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 28 in reference to an aggravated battery with a firearm. 

Two suspects described as black males between the ages 16 to 20 fled the scene on foot. The investigation into the incident is on-going, according to a release from OCSO.
