Sprouts Farmers Market coming to Dr. Phillips

The company announced a new location on Turkey Lake Road as part of extensive expansion plans for Florida.

Dr. Phillips residents and visitors to the area soon will have a new option when it comes to grocery shopping.

Sprouts Farmers Market announced plans on Friday, July 5, for a store in Orlando at 7603 Turkey Lake Road. The new store is located west of I-4 and north of Sand Lake Road, on the east side of Turkey Lake Road.

Sprouts specializes in fresh, natural and organic products at prices that appeal to all grocery shoppers, according to the company. It's the company's belief that healthy food should be affordable, and the Sprouts shopping experience includes fresh produce at the heart of the store. 

Other features include a deli with prepared entrees and side dishes, The Butcher Shop and The Fish Market at Sprouts, and a dedicated vitamins and supplements department.

According to Sprouts, the new Orlando location is in addition to the grocer’s previously announced plans to expand in Florida with locations in the following cities: Boynton Beach, Deerfield Beach, Estero, Jacksonville at Beach and Tamaya boulevards, Jacksonville at The Markets at Town Center, Jupiter, Miramar, Riverview, Seminole, Stuart, Tampa at Bruce B. Downs Boulevard and Hunter’s Green Drive, Tampa in Westchase and Trinity.

Sprouts currently operates ten stores in the state, the nearest of which to West Orange is the Winter Park location. Nationwide, Sprouts employs more than 30,000 team members and operates more than 325 stores in 21 states from coast to coast.
