Orange County Public Schools Food and Nutrition Services will provide free meals to children during the summer. This summer, meals will be served at many locations including community partners, Monday through Friday at various times. There are no income requirements or registration. Youth Leaders

The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce’s Youth Leaders program is Central Florida's premier leadership program for high school students. Students develop new leadership skills and discover opportunities for leadership within our community. Session topics include team building, arts and culture, media and communications, law and government and a day for career exploration and mentoring. Two sessions available: June 18-22 or July 16-20. MASA

MASA (Math, Arts, and Science Achievement) Center for Gifted and Talented Youth programs offer students challenging educational opportunities through fun hands-on activities and inquiry-based instruction that allow them to develop their intellect, use higher cognitive skills to create and to invent. MASA is sponsored and supported by NASA's Florida Space Grant Consortium. Sessions are June 11-18 and June 18-22 at 5700 Trinity Prep Lane, in Winter Park (Trinity Prep School). FYAO Youth Orchestra

Come experience the Florida Young Artists Orchestra (FYAO) summer camp under the artistic direction of world-renowned conductor Dr. Alvaro Gomez. Summer camp is open to all strings, woodwind, brass and percussion musicians ages 7-18, who can read music. Session is June 18-22 at Trinity Preparatory School's campus, 5700 Trinity Prep Lane, in Winter Park. Cost is $250, with $25 sibling discount. Extended day options available. Breakthrough Theatre

The Breakthrough Theatre of Winter Park will hold a Summer Theater Camp for elementary and middle school students June 11-July 6. The camp is for first through eighth-grade students. The camp will run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration forms are available at breakthroughtheatre.com under "Summer Registration Forms". The Breakthrough Theatre is located at 419A W. Fairbanks Ave. in Winter Park.

YMCA

iD Tech Camp

Crealdé School of Art

Crealdé’s Summer ArtCamp, beginning Monday, June 11, offers kids between ages 4 and 17 more than 20 classes in a variety of media including painting, drawing, clay and ceramics, sculpture, traditional film or digital photography, and printmaking. Mead Garden

Registration is now open for this summer's elementary, middle and high school camps. Early Bird discount registration for Mead Botanical Garden members and prior campers ends May 15. Reading sessions

University of Central Florida’s Division of Continuing Education will offer eight different reading skills programs for ages 4 through adults. Tuition and materials fees vary by program level. An early summer session begins the week of June 11, and a late summer session begins the week of July 16. Programs meet in Orlando and Winter Park. Winter Park Crew

Winter Park Crew Learn To Row Summer Camp from July 23 to August 17, 2012. The camp will run Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 8am until noon. The cost is $300 per rower. Offered to boys and girls in grades 7-12, the WPC Learn To Row Summer Camp is designed to give students the opportunity to learn or improve their skills in the great sport of rowing. No experience is necessary; the camp will teach everything a rower needs to know to start their rowing career. For rowers with some experience on the water, the Camp will provide the chance to continue to build their rowing skills. For all of you high school athletes, rowing is a great low-impact sport and the perfect way to cross-train over the summer. The deadline to register is July 16. Peterbrooke Chocolatier WP’s Chocolate Camp

Adventures in History camp programs offer kids an opportunity to explore their creativity, expand their imaginations and enhance their knowledge of the world around them. The OCRHC offers summer camp for grades kindergarten though eighth. Day camp hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Early drop-off starts at 7:30 a.m. and extended day is available until 6 p.m. for an additional $10 per child, per day.
