A local teen pled guilty to charges of battery and destroying electronic monitoring equipment on Wednesday – just weeks after he was found guilty of manslaughter and battery in another case surrounding the death of 15-year-old Winter Park student Roger Trindade early last month.

Simeon Hall's plea was related to an arrest for aggravated battery the evening of Friday, Oct. 8 following a reported attack on a juvenile earlier that day.

The victim reported the incident to the police and positively identified the suspect as Simeon Hall, who was currently under home detention at the time of the reported attack.

The victim suffered “significant” injuries to the head, though they were reported as non-life threatening.

A sentencing hearing for Hall has been set for June 15.
