TFA's Grove and Finnerty honored at American Baseball Coaches Association conference

Grove and Finnerty led the Royals baseball team to the Class 3A state championship in 2021.

The First Academy baseball coaches Scott Grove and Glenn Finnerty were honored by the American Baseball Coaches Association at its conference on Jan. 7 as National Coach of the Year and Assistant Coach of the Year. 

Grove and Finnerty led the Royals to the 2021 Class 3A state championship this past spring. 

The two emerged the winners out of 13,000 coaches in the United States.
