This year’s all-school musical at Windermere Prep will be taking audiences under the sea.

Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” will take center stage from Nov. 14 to 16 at the Cypress Center Center for the Arts at Windermere Prep; 6189 Winter Garden Vineland Road, Windermere. Tickets cost $13 to $18 depending on seating, and can be purchased online or at the box office the day of the show. The musical will feature more than 90 students ranging from lower school to high school.

Based on the classic animated Disney movie, Windermere Prep’s production of “The Little Mermaid” will feature many of the most memorable songs from the film like “Under the Sea,” Kiss the Girl” and “Part of Your World.” The musical follows the story of Ariel — the youngest daughter of King Triton — as falls in love with a human, Prince Eric, from the world above her undersea home. She bargains with the evil sea witch, Ursual, and trades her tail fins for feet, but she later finds out the bargain is not what it seems.
