Town council workshop and special-called meeting occurring in Windermere tonight

The new "Healthy West Orange Pavilion" and the Windermere Boathouse lease will be discussed.

The Town of Windermere will be hosting both a Town Council Workshop and a Special-Called Town Council Meeting tonight. 

The Special-Called Town Council Meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at Town Hall. 

The meeting will include topics such as a new vehicle for the Windermere Police Department and the new "Healthy West Orange Pavilion." 

The pavilion will support the Town in meeting the goals of Healthy West Orange by providing a central location for health and wellness programs to be offered to residents of West Orange County, according to the meeting agenda. The project includes a covered stage, restrooms and a concession stand with an equipped kitchen. 

The Town Council Workshop will begin immediately following the meeting. One of the main topics to be discussed in the workshop is the Windermere Boathouse lease.
