Town of Oakland starts sewage construction

Force main sewer construction is expected to have minimal on areas near Oakland Avenue and Tubb Street.

Construction of a force main sewer has begun in the town of Oakland. 

The new sewer line will run from the Longleaf at Oakland neighborhood to Tubb Street, connecting the system to commercial properties along State Road 50. 

According to the town of Oakland website, the construction is expected to have minimal impact on homes and traffic along Oakland Avenue and Tubb Street.
